This time, we will be talking about our first gaming mouse pad, the "Aimpad Type Control," which is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2023.
We received feedback from Syamu, a professional Fortnite player from DELTA eSports, about this product, so we would like to share it with you.

Aimpad type control
A5 has spent two years developing this cloth gaming mouse pad for PC gamers. The sliding surface is made of Japanese-made Amundsen woven material. It has a matte texture and is a control-type mouse pad that focuses on not only the start of the mouse movement but also how it stops.
■Please tell us about Syamu.
While playing Fortnite as a professional eSports player, he currently works as a coach for DELTAesports. In the competitive scene, he has experience winning first and second place in Asia.
■Please tell us the games you usually play.
I mainly play Fortnite, but I've also been focusing on VALORANT recently.
■Please tell me the trial period for the aim pad.
I have a lot of mouse pads, so I tried out different ones. I've been using this one for about a month now.
■ Please tell us your overall impressions after using it.
The overall rating is very high, and I am very satisfied! For work, including practice time, I play games for a long time, so the stability of the mouse pad is very important. This aim pad does not slip due to humidity or sweat even when playing for a long time, and the back has a firm grip, so it is very good that you can operate it stably!
■ The aim pad released this time also allows for a smooth start.
It's one of the selling points, but how is the overall sliding feel?
When playing competitively, especially in Fortnite, where the mouse movements are often fast both horizontally and vertically, I personally felt that it could do with a little more sliding. But it's also important that the mouse stops exactly where you want it to, so when you consider that balance, I'd say that this is a very good mousepad overall.
■What do you think of the size of the mouse pad? I made it quite large.
For low sensitivity players in both FPS and TPS games, there are many scenes where you have to move the mouse a lot, so I think you will often use a large mouse pad. Among them, this mouse pad fits up to your elbow, and is wide enough for intense movements, so I think it is the ideal size.
■ ■During development, you said that you wanted some way to deal with what happens when the mouse is moved too widely, but how do you handle the edges?
This is ideal! The surface of the mouse pad and the stitched edge are flush with each other, so your mouse won't get caught even if you move it all the way to the edge.
■What kind of players would you recommend this to?
Personally, I think the ideal mouse pad is one that glides and stops smoothly (although this is the opposite of what I want). I recommend this to control-type players who want to be able to start and stop the mouse exactly as they want.
■What kind of mouse pads do you think would be good to have in the future?
This time the surface was a bit rough, so next time I'd like one with a smoother surface! Of course, a mouse pad that's easy to control!
Thank you, Syamu!
The Aim Pad (Type: Control) is available here. *Scheduled for release in early February.
